‘Green’ solution available for parcel mailers in England

DocMail Local Post is an interesting organization that uses a bicycle delivery service, in which electric bikes are utilized to deliver mail for various businesses in 14 different postal codes in Bristol and an additional 12 in another region.

 

Postal reform not likely to happen anytime soon

The Post and Parcel reported that postal reform will not likely be possible anytime soon, as the U.S. Congress only has a limited amount of time available this month to address these concerns.

Tropical Storm Leslie caused all Newfoundland flights to be cancelled

USA Today reported that the Canadian east coast is likely to experience flooding over the next few days due to Leslie and forecasters predict that winds will reach 49 miles per hour for the Cape Breton region and as high as 62 miles per hour over the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland.
